Location and parking
Walk from the Old Town – 10 minutes
From the Town Hall Square, head for Pikk street and walk up to Fat Margaret Tower. As you leave the Old Town behind, you will see the Energy Discovery Centre right across the road.
Walk from the port – 10 minutes
From Terminal A of the Old City Harbour, walk along Sadama street until you get to Põhja puiestee (North Avenue). Walk past the City Hall and the Creative Hub, and you will see the large yellow building of the Energy Discovery Centre on the right side of the street. If you come from Terminal D, you have to walk around the marina first.
From the Baltic Railway Station – 15 minutes
After you get off the train, you can take tram line No 1 or 2 for the Balti Jaam stop and get off at the Linnahall stop, which is right across the road from the Energy Discovery Centre. A walk from the railway station to the Centre will take about 15 minutes.
From the City Centre – 10 minutes
All tram lines stop just next to Viru Shopping Centre – at Hobujaama stop. Tram lines No 1 and 2 (towards Kopli) and bus line No 3 (towards Randla) will take you directly to the Energy Discovery Centre. Disembark at the Linnahall stop.
Red tour buses
Tallinn City Tour buses stop at Terminal A and B of Tallinn Harbour, and in front of the Fat Margaret Tower – those are the closest stops to the Discovery Centre. The closest stops of the Sightseeing Tallinn buses are at Terminal A and B of the harbour and in front of the Russian Cultural Centre on Mere puiestee.
During the construction of roads and the new tramway, please pay attention to traffic management!
The Energy Discovery Centre is located next to the City Hall and the Creative Hub. There are three car parks around the City Hall where you can park for a charge. The first car park can be accessed right after the petrol station from in front of the Creative Hub, the second via Kalasadama street and the third from Sadama street via Logi and Rumbi streets. Please pay attention to the signs of the car parks.
The region is located in the Tallinn City Centre parking zone, where parking costs 0.025 euros per minute or 1.5 euros per hour. You must pay for parking on weekdays from 7 to 19 and Saturdays from 8 to 15. It is free of charge at other times and on Sundays. See the parking fees and conditions.
