“The Current Starry Sky” planetarium show changes to reflect what is happening in the sky. The planetarium guide will teach you how to find the most exciting constellations and planets in the Solar System, which you can see with your naked eye when the conditions outside allow it, and it also gives you tips on how to best watch shooting stars.
The astronomy software used at the Energy Discovery Centre’s Planetarium is Starry Night Pro Plus 7, the 3D database of which allows us to see thousands of exoplanets, millions of stars and 200,000 galaxies, and which has more than a billion light years of space to travel. The Starry Night database is constantly updated, as we are always learning something new about the universe.
The creation of the Planetarium show was supported by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research.
