The Energy Discovery Centre offers primary school children a range of workshops and a planetarium show. We strongly recommend that you include lightning and static electricity demonstrations in your visit. Please make sure to book your class visits and, if necessary, the demonstrations can be done at a time that suits your group.

For students coming with their class to the Discovery Centre, the price is €7 plus a ticket to the workshop or performance of their choice. Participation in the exhibitions is included in the price of the ticket to the centre.

To ensure that your visit to the Discovery Centre supports as much as possible of the topics covered in the lessonsyou can download the site at worksheets and ideas for planning activities for Year 1.

To book a time for a group visit, click “Book a visit!” button. Once we have received your completed enquiry form, the Discovery Centre administrators will contact you directly to finalise the details of your visit and confirm your booking.
